Bauer's high-speed CNC laser cutting machines precisely cut special features in metal components. Our multi-spindle laser cutting machines to process round, square, rectangular, as well as oval tubes or sheets. These high precision laser cutting machines enable us to cut copes, slots, or holes into tubes with outer diameters up to 8" and wall thicknesses up to 0.375". Additionally, our newest fiber optic tube laser is equipped with an extended loader and can process materials up to 27' long to enable maximum nesting options and reduced waste.
The Mazak Space Gear Mark II 6-axis laser cutting machine at our facility is an all-in-one laser center capable of cutting sheets, pre-bent tubing, and bent tubular structures. In 2D mode operation, the laser cuts up to 0.87" in thicknesses. The machine also operates in 3D mode to cut preformed sculptured surfaces. A non-contact profiler maintains a constant standoff distance and eliminates marring of parts.
Our high-speed hole punching capability enables us to perforate holes in tubes of any size and shape with high precision and accuracy without the need for secondary flattening or deburring. Typical materials processed include carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, and brass.
